Kaitlin Ridder, MD

Dr. Kaitlin Ridder is a board-certified urologist happy to care for the people of Southeastern North Carolina. Dr. Ridder has vast knowledge of treating a wide range of urologic conditions. She specializes in all urologic cancers, enlarged/ benign prostate conditions, vasectomy, overactive bladder, and stone disease.

A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Dr. Ridder came to Duke University for undergraduate education and fell in love with North Carolina. She attended medical school at the University of Tennessee, graduating with honors. Following medical school, Dr. Ridder trained in general surgery and urology, completing her residency at Indiana University in Indianapolis. Dr. Ridder practiced for several years in Annapolis, Maryland before returning to North Carolina to join Urology Associates of Southeastern North Carolina.

Dr. Ridder's passion for urology stems from her passion for people. Urology encompasses very personal and often life-changing medical conditions. With honesty and surgical acumen, Dr. Ridder provides the multifaceted support needed in these difficult times.

When Dr. Ridder is not caring for patients, she can be found at the beach with her husband, two children, and a mischievous puppy.
