To our patients:

These are unprecedented times, and we all are having to make changes due to the COVID-19 viral pandemic.

We support recommendations that all of us remain at home and limit contacts with other people to prevent viral spread. If you feel mildly ill, remain at home and stay in touch with your primary physician for advice. If you feel significantly ill, call your primary doctor.

In accordance with recommendations from state and federal infection control experts, we are adjusting our office and surgical schedules.

For at least the next 5 weeks through 4/26/20, we have made the following changes:

• All non-urgent surgical procedures will be postponed.
• Our office will contact you to discuss new arrangements for scheduled surgeries. Once hospital operations return towards normal, we will work to have your operation rescheduled as quickly as possible.

We are limiting office visits to protect both patients and staff from possible viral exposure. We will offer following options depending on the nature of your urologic problem:

• Rescheduling of appointment times to May or later.
• Telemedicine visit with your urologist via phone or video connection to review your condition. These telemedicine encounters are covered under your insurance and urologist will discuss your symptoms, offer advice or medication as appropriate.
• Come to the office for your scheduled appointment if your symptoms need in-person immediate attention.

Our office staff has been split up to limit viral exposure. There is a chance you may not meet with your regular urologist. All of our providers are trained and capable of attending to your needs.

We apologize for inconvenience and hope you understand these changes are temporary, but necessary, until the viral pandemic comes under control.

We still maintain 24 hour on call coverage for urologic emergencies. Please call 763-6251 at any time for emergencies, and we have complete phone availability during office hours 8am-5pm Monday through Friday for more routine questions and information.

The physicians and staff of Urology Associates of SENC, wishing us all good health and we look forward to serving you in these challenging times. control of this viral pandemic.
